Mr. Ajimul Sekh is a driver of hyva (JH10AT0669). He belongs from Pandra village near Nirsa area. He is having 5 years of experience in this line. During our intervention found that, at any time he was creating safety violation like overtaking, driving without seat belt and over speed inside the plant area. Our officer shared some motivational story in presence of Ajimul in morning meeting and during site visit when he creates safety violation inside plant. We counseled him on the spot and then he agrees with us and told that this will not happen in future. On next day same violation happened again by him.
Our officers plan to create rapport with him. All staff meet him in morning meeting, site visit, and discuss this matter with his family members (wife, father and father-in –law) through home visit and his partner was helping us to change him. This type of intervention continued for 4 months. After 04 months, one day during our site visit at coal road Mr. Ajimul Sekh shared us his own side that he was feeling guilty during overtaking, driving without seat belt and over speed. Many changes happen within him. After this case he is obeying all safety rules and also motivates others towards safe behavior in morning meeting.
