Change is unchangeable law of nature. If we want to change our self, change will happen. If we don’t want to change, nature will change us. We want to change driver and helper through love, care and respect.
Sunil Rawani is a driver of (JH-10AR-9236) hyva. His age is 44 and belongs from Pandra village near Nirsa area. Our team met him in complaining mood against MPL and de-motivating to other colleagues at silo area in morning meeting. His complain was MPL (Maithon Power Limited) should provide all PPEs to drivers and helpers, water facility should available near silo area etc.
Regularly in morning meeting, his de-motivates others not to attend this morning meeting. At that time he became barrier for our morning meeting. Every day during site visit we meet with him and try to reduce the complain mood. One day in morning meeting he became winner of the game, and then he gets appreciation in front of all other driver. After that we found his complain mood was reduced and he attended morning meeting proactively. One day our officer conducted Mugma mine visit with him and observed that he was not using seat belt and his hyva’s indicator was broken. Then we told him to repair the indicators. After three day we found he repaired his indicator. In morning meeting we appreciate him for repairing the indicator. One day during site visit we told him that now drinking water is available near silo area as per your demand. Then we asked him if we can visit his home. He agreed. According to our planning one day we visit his home and appreciated him for his good job in front of his family members.
After our home visit we found that some changes happened in Sunil. He was very positive toward the safety meeting and motivating to others to attend the morning meeting. And he also used seat belt during driving. We hope in future he will become our change agent who will promote safe driving at plant and outside also.
