Mr Ranjit Kumar Mahato is a driver of this hyva (JH-10AQ-1607). He belongs to poor family from Reptana village near Silo area. He has experience of 8 years in driving line. During site visit our officer observed that Mr. Ranjit was not using seat belt. Any time we met him, he had an upset mind. At the same time our officer counseled him on spot and at same time he wore seat belt. After 2 days, we again observed him. He was driving without seat belt again. Our officer created a plan to change his unsafe practice to safe practice.
On the next day our officer takes Morning Meeting with focus on the Mr. Ranjit observation and intimate to his coworkers about the unsafe activities. In this morning meeting Mr. Ranjit also admit his own fault and feeling guilty for unsafe job. Then as per our planning our officer visited to his home and want to know that about his mood upset and discuss with his family about his upset mind during Hyva driving and showing hazard of upset mind during driving in presence of Mr.Ranjit. After that he committed in front of his family that he will never do such type of mistake and use seat belt during driving. We created a good relation with him through counseling and motivation. One day he takes new initiative to clear the garbage at Silo token point. Then our officer appreciated him in morning meeting. Now he drives with seat belt during his job without upset mind and also motivate to other colleagues for safe job. He attends morning meeting every day.
